He was injured in the rescue and did not regain his vision for two weeks. The Medal of Valor is the second highest medal awarded for bravery at the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office.
He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology and an Associate of Arts degree in Theater from Florida State University. He has written short stories and poetry for 35-years, and truly loves writing. He lives in Jacksonville, Florida in a quaint community with his thirty pet fish.
On December 6, 2012, I had a dream about an eight year old boy that had an experience with aliens. At the time the boy thought the encounter was just a random incident in his life, but it turned out to be his destiny. The encounter was only the introduction of his new family to him. A family no human would ever think could exists. This dream and my own personal fascination with aliens, space and science fiction blossomed into my novel, Red Halos.

I am currently working on my next novel, The Coke Bottle Slayer , a crime mystery about a sexual deviant that befriends a serial killer. What happens next cannot be comprehended by sanity.
